1^st Trimesteric Screening For Down's Syndrome:

-Calculation Method, Non Invasive, Rapid Assessment of Risk

-It's done in the 1^st Trimester, From the 9^th Week to the 15^th Week of Pregnancy

-It Includes Performing the Following Tests:

PAPP-A (Pregnancy Associated Plasma Protein A) & Free B-HCG (Beta Subunit of Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin)

-In Addition, Some Data are Required From the Patient:

LMP, Date of Birth, Weight, Diabetic or Not, Smoker or Not, Nuchal Translucency (Ultrasound Finding)

2^nd Trimesteric Screening For Down's Syndrome:

-Calculation Method, Non Invasive, Rapid Assessment of Risk

-It's done in the 2^nd Trimester, From the 15^th Week to the 22^nd Week  of Pregnancy

-It Includes Performing the Following Tests:

B-HCG, Alpha Feto Protein, Estriol (E3)

-In Addition, Some Data are Required From the Patient:

LMP, Date of Birth, Weight, Diabetic or Not, Smoker or Not

Fetal Karyotyping:

The Amniotic Fluid (Obtained by the Obstetrician & Ultrasound Guided) is Analyzed For the Fetal Chromosomes (Number & Structure)
