Pathology Unit
It's our honor and great pleasure to introduce to you the services available at the pathology unit at Saridar Lab:
1) Routine histopathological examination of different tissue specimens and cytological smears.
2) Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC): Performing the procedure and examination of the specimen.
3) Bone marrow biopsy: Performing the procedure and examination of the specimen.
4) Impression cytology technique for conjunctiva: Performing the procedure and examination of the specimen.
5) PAP Smear.
6) Diagnostic immunohistochemistry:
· Tumour Immunopathological Markers & Immunophenotyping:
Necessary for: the detection, diagnosis and prognosis of neoplasms and premalignant lesions.
· Immunopathological Examination of Some Non Neoplastic Conditions:
For which the immunological profile is necessary to reach accurate diagnosis and hence treatment e.g. renal and skin biopsies.
